What NickShirley.us.com collects
NickShirley.us.com collects as little as it can:
- Alert signups. If you enter your email address in a “Get alerts” form, we store that address, the date and the page you signed up on. We use it for one thing: to email you when a new Nick Shirley investigation is covered on this site.
- Server logs. Like every website, our hosting company keeps standard server logs: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use them only to keep the site running and to stop abuse.
This site does not run advertising, does not sell or rent data to anyone and does not set tracking cookies.
Email data and your rights
Your email data stays in a private file on our hosting account and is never sold, rented or shared with marketers. You can ask us to delete your address, or to tell you what we hold about you, at any time by writing to info@nickshirley.us.com. We act on deletion requests within 30 days.
YouTube videos on NickShirley.us.com
Videos on NickShirley.us.com are shown as a still image until you press play. Nothing loads from YouTube before that. When you press play, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com, and from that moment Google’s own privacy policy applies to the video player.
Links from NickShirley.us.com to other websites
Pages on NickShirley.us.com link to news reports, government records, court filings and Nick Shirley’s own channels. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle data.
